Sublimation is a type of heat transfer than can applied to shirts, metals, glass and ceramics. The process uses heat to turn the ink into a gaseous state. The emitted gas dyes the substrate you are working with. Good results can be obtained with moderately complex and simple designs.
Sublimation works good on light colored garments specifically white shirts for the best results. Shirts used for this process are made from 100% polyester.
This process also works well for decorating glassware, mouse pads, phone cases and even license plate frames.
